Vivette IGIHOZO IRADUKUNDA is a conservation forester both academically and professionally. She is currently part of the management team for the restoration of Lake Kivu/Rusizi River Bassin in Rwanda. She has a diverse background in habitat restoration, specifically tree nursery management, silviculture care, and tree inventory. She has worked on projects involving biodiversity research, habitat restoration, and climate resilience She is a Habitat Restoration Analyst for Nature Rwanda. As with habitat restoration, she finds it fascinating, and she believes that her role in Nature Rwanda is relevant to restoring the habitat of other species, particularly critical endangered species, as well as contributing to climate resilience and sustainable development.
