As a part of the Environmental Education Program, Nature Rwanda worked with the Eco club at Rwahi TVET School in gardening school with agro-forestry and fruit trees. This club is one of Eco clubs neighboring the threatened Important biodiversity areas, that are supported by Nature Rwanda. The tree planting activity is organized with the aim of giving students an opportunity to get hands-on experience in addressing world environmental conservation issues at an early stage. It also instills in participants at early ages through informal learning technics to work as leaders in environmental-related issues.

The expected Outcomes

The expected outcomes of this event are:

  1. The improved environmental learning to Rwahi TVET students
  2. A fruit garden created and serves as an informal educational tool of environmental conservation to other students and newcomers in the club.
