Nature Rwanda is working hard to ensure the ecological integrity and economic sustainability of a network of intact and well-functioning biodiversity that is crucial to the country and its people. Through Eco-club initiatives, we hope to demonstrate these relationships and highlight the importance of biodiversity and ecosystem services, especially their role as a key habitat for endangered species. A shift in perspective, attitude, and behavior is required to grasp their significance.
In this regard, Nature Rwanda hosted an awarding ceremony to recognize the winners of Wetlands and Biodiversity talent competition organized in commemoration of World Wetland Day 2020. Because they are deserving, nine champions from Kigusa, Gicaca primary schools and GS Rulindo in the Bugesera district were honored.
