At Nature Rwanda; we trust that educating children, especially by incorporating informal settings into traditional classroom practices is a wonderful and unforgettable opportunity for young people to become involved in environmental conservation and it shows them that by working together, we can ensure a sustainable future.
In this regard, Nature Rwanda organized a conservation talk on the Endangered Vulture species at Gataraga primary school in conjunction with the 2021 Celebration of Endangered Species Day. The presentation highlighted the threats that vulture species face, ranging from habitat loss to extinction, as well as how they can start acting now to counteract such threats.
